The conference organizers have made the very difficult decision to postpone the Carbon in Northern Forests conference. We received fewer abstract submissions than we had hoped, and feel that rescheduling the event will produce a much higher quality program in the future. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience.
We do want to emphasize, however, that the Carbon in Northern Forests conference will be held in the spring of 2009 and that the editors of Forest Science are still committed to publishing a special issue of the journal featuring presentations from the conference.
New information, including the rescheduled date and a revised program schedule, will be posted on this website as information becomes available.
