An optional field tour of local carbon research and management is arranged for the morning (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) of Thursday, June 26, 2008
Participants will visit studies on carbon science in local forest types, including northern hardwoods, red pine, aspen, and planted larch. The format of the outdoor program will allow participants to engage with researchers as well as discuss potential management implications of projects. More details to come.
This tour is included in the conference registration fee. However, due to limited space, attendees must indicate that they plan to attend during registration and will be added on a first come, first served basis.
