My role as Dean is to provide leadership and to provide the faculty, staff, and
students with the necessary resources to teach, do research,
and learn. While still doing some research on the ecology of wetlands and
riparian areas within the Upper Great Lakes Region, I also focus on helping
faculty, staff, and students to find their life's path and to realize the
excitement each individual's contributions mean to our School, our university,
our nation, and our world.
Specific Interests:
- Wetland Ecology
- Hydrological Modeling
- Carbon and Nitrogen Dynamics in Wetlands
- Wetland Classification and Mapping
