The Ford Center Hostel offers clean, safe and affordable rooms in a secluded and rustic setting, located in the heart of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan [Map]. Alberta, the location of the Hostel, is a small village created by Henry Ford in 1935. Today Michigan Technological University operates the village as a conference center and research forest. Rooms are located in either a dorm or one of the historic homes. Alberta is situated in a great location to take advantage of the amazing natural and historical features of the area. To get an idea of places to visit, check out Kari’s Top Picks or Katy’s Top Picks. The Ford Center Hostel is open year round. Groups welcome.
