This will be an applied project requiring a thorough review of the literature, field and laboratory work, and the preparation of a thesis document, refereed journal paper and at least one publication directed to forest landowners. Participation in professional and landowner meetings is expected. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to develop skills necessary to become a successful professional in the forestry or wood products community.
