Hi Peg,Attached is an internship the Department of Public Works is offering this year. Most of my advertising is in New Hampshire but I wondered if you would be willing to circulate this at Tech. The intern must be well versed in ArcGis9. Laconia is in the heart of the Lakes Region. If I remember correctly, didn't you spend a few years in Durham? The City website is www.cityoflaconianh.org <http://www.cityoflaconianh.org> Laconia comprises about 21 square miles of land area and has a population of about 17,000 ( we think it is more like about 25,000 in the summer). It is a great place for water sports and the White Mountains are nearby. If you know of any adventurous souls willing to endure the infamous motorcycle week up here, I would love to hear from them. Best regards, LukeLuke Powell Assistant Director Laconia Department of Public Works 27 Bisson Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246 phone: (603) 528-6379 fax: (603) 527-1298 e-mail: PowellL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
