Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore currently has a vacancy announcement
advertised to fill five temporary Biological Science Technician (Plants)
positions for the 2008 spring/summer field season. Duties of the positions
involve field work related to invasive plant control and habitat
improvement for federally listed species. Work will include using tools
and equipment, applying herbicide to control invasive plants, and mapping
work sites using Global Positioning System Units.
