Career Fair--Woodland Mgmt Service
All-
There's a sign up sheet on my door for Woodland Management Service out
of Wisconsin. There's only -1- name on the list and consequently I
wanted to call the gentleman to get the particulars from him. Here's
your situational awareness (or "S-A" as I would call it):
- He's here to hire college graduates (i.e., soon to be college
graduates) and is open minded about picking up interns for the summer
- He's not particular about the degree. I.e., he hires Wildlife Majors
routinely. You're being hired as a consulting forester--a HEAVY
emphasis in wildlife management means they hunger for both degrees.
- He told me you start out at the main office and within 2-5 years
(depends on how fast of a study you are) they put you at your own
location doing the work--quasi work for yourself
Sounds like a good deal--recommend going through the interview to see
where it leads you.
Your Goal: GET A GOOD JOB. That is all.
