MORE Ottawa National Forest summer employment

Attached below are the student requisitions for this year’s summer employment program on the Ottawa National Forest. Our recreation department will be hiring 6 positions: one (1) GS-04 Trails Technician, one (1) GS-04 Recreation Technician and one (1) GS-02 Forestry Aid at the Kenton Ranger District in Kenton, MI; and one (1) GS-04 Trails Technician, one (1) GS-04 Recreation Technician and one (1) GS-02 Forestry Aid at the Ontonagon Ranger District in Ontonagon, MI. 
Please nominate qualified students for these positions. To be hired under the Student Temporary Employment Program, the student must meet the qualification requirements and the general eligibility requirement listed on the requisition. Graduate students can be considered. 

Nominations must be made without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or political or personal favoritism. 

Students need to submit the attached Student Employment Program requisition (FS-6100-5) , a transcript and resume which will be used to rate the applicants so that selection of the most qualified student can be made. Incomplete applications or requisitions will not be considered. Education will not be counted if the student’s transcript is not included in the application package.
