The Job Fair

Howdy-

As many of you know our natural resources career fair is rapidly approaching.  It will take place this Thursday and Friday in the atrium.

The following organizations are scheduled to attend:

- Green Timber Consulting
- Kretz Lumber Co
- Louisiana Pacific Corp
- Grossman Forestry
- Forestland Group, LLC
- Cold Springs Forestry
- Peace Corps
- Woodland Management Service
- The "Jims"

I'll have interview sign up sheets for the following organizations on my office door:
Grossman, Forestland Group, Cold Springs, and Woodland Management Service

A few notes on this year's career fair:
- This is an early look for these organizations.  They're here and hiring despite a lackluster economy.  

- The Jims (Rivard and Schmierer) offer a pretty good deal for folks who want to stay up here this summer.  They have a wide breadth of activities they do during the summers.  

- Pay close attention to the notices coming out over email.  I do my best to label them in an easy to read format.  Looking quickly over the subject line you can tell the degree requirements, location, and nature of the job.  

- I am here to help.  Come see me and together we'll get you squared away.
