Minnesota Division of Forestry Student Intern Positions for 2009

Minnesota is picking up some interns for this summer. Read the instructions CAREFULLY.

Of note: you MUST (as in, YOU MUST) enroll in FW 4000 in the fall if you go to work for them. It's a 1-hour class w/ Blair Orr.

This is a very good opportunity to get some experience to potentially go to work for the MN DNR down the road. Consider it carefully.

The application says forestry but we've fed them applied ecologists before. If I were a wildlifer who's been hanging around the Jims too much I'd throw my hat in the ring as well.

Chris:

We received approval to fill our student intern positions for this coming summer. Instructions for applying are attached. We would appreciate it if you would forward to your forestry students.

I most likely will not be able to visit Houghton so the application and selection process will be by mail, e-mail, and telephone.

Please call if you have any questions.

Thank you for your help.
