Another Ottawa NF - Archaeological Aid



Attached below is a student requisition for this year’s summer employment program on the Ottawa National Forest. We will be hiring one (1) GS-04 Archaeological Aid at the Ironwood Supervisor's Office to assist professional resource specialists in the organization and documentation of cultural and historical resource materials. The applicant must have a strong bnackground in database entry and the ability to analyze technical and professional reports. Please nominate qualified students for these positions. To be hired under the Student Temporary Employment Program, the student must meet the qualification requirements and the general eligibility requirement listed on the requisition. Graduate students can be considered. Nominations must be made without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or political or personal favoritism. The student will need to submit the attached Student Employment Program requisition (FS-6100-5) , a transcript and resume which will be used to rate the applicants so that selection of the most qualified student can be made. Incomplete applications or requisitions will not be considered. Education will not be counted if the student’s transcript is not included in the application package. The attached forms may be copied as needed. Please complete block #4 on page 1 with your school's current mailing address. Students must sign Block 2 of Part III of the requisition.



Please send the completed requisitions, transcripts and resumes, back to the Ottawa National Forest Supervisor’s Office at E6248 US Hwy 2, Ironwood, Michigan 49938 to the attention of Nancy Miskovich by Friday, April 3, 2009.
