MS opportunities - invasive plant species at Ohio University
I have an opening for a Masters student in my lab, starting next
winter. The student will work on (but not be limited to) a project looking
at invasions of commercial forests by nonnative plant species. The project
is fully funded, operating in collaboration with the US Forest
Service. The student will work under my supervision, and do coursework in
the Department of Environmental and Plant Biology at Ohio University. OU
is a medium-sized state university situated in a cute little town on the
very rural Allegheny Plateau.
Could you mention this to interested students? This is an opportunity for
a student completing her/his degree early, or a recent graduate who has not
yet found a position. I understand that the start date is out of sync with
the academic year, and may be a little awkward.
Interested students should take a look at my homepage

and read about our department at
