Email System Maintenance at 10 p.m. on October 9th

The Michigan Technological University email system will be unavailable
for eight hours starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, October 9th. This period
will be used for system maintenance and updates. This outage affects
those using Huskymail at http://huskymail.mtu.edu and those accessing
MTU email from Outlook, Thunderbird and other mail programs which use
the IMAP server "email.mtu.edu".

All new mail coming in during that period will be queued and delivered
once the mail system comes back up.
